网页2016年4月8日 · Jun 11, 2018. #13/19. the tavors (SAR and X95) along my mini 14 are the most fired rifles i've ever own. both the SAR and X95 are phenomenal bullpups. neither one is superior. the mechanics are nearly identical. BCG is interchangeable. don't fall for any hype that one is "better". both are great it's simply a matter of preference.

网页2012年10月22日 · Getting a mount that will fit a 50mm objective on a Tavor will put the scope up so high, you won't be able to get a decent cheek weld on the gun. Thats the problem with high mounts on rifles like this. They can't exactly be restocked with a Monte Carlo stock to accommodate the high mount.

网页2011年11月26日 · I shot a Tavor SAR-5.56 and, for me, hard pass. The recoil with the .223 Tavor was more noticeable than an AR or a .223 AK. In 7.62 NATO, I would imagine this would be worse. If you're looking for a 7.62 NATO semi-auto rifle, I'd instead suggest a FAL (possible in Mass if you try hard enough), CETME or G3, AR10/SR-25, or M14-platform.
