But I highly doubt that they would put an M11-A1 UID on a gun with a P228 slide. And the finish on that slide doesn’t look like anything SIG would do to it at the factory.

网页2019年6月26日 · IMO, Mk25 & M11-A1 are very different - Both are fine pistols. M11 design's smaller dimensions, clean chin and 15+1 9mm capacity are perfect for CCW. Mk25's pic rail frame provides mounting accessories like light & lazer for service or home defense duties. The slide can be setup for 9mm, 40sw and 357sig.

The classic P-series design has morphed; educated SIG owners know that and either accept the new reality or limit their SIG inventories to piece(s) of history.

网页2017年7月1日 · The M11 (sidearm I was issued and carried in Germany) is a P228, Stamped & folded carbon steel slide, 9mm, no rail. The M11-A1 is the 229 platform which is essentially the 228 with a solid milled slide. P229 comes in 9mm, 357SIG / 40S&W. So basically, the M11 is a P228, and the M11-A1 is a P229.
